Back to the Cruise

We spent a lovely day on the beaches of Cozumel on Tuesday August 27th. 

DeAnne and Mom enjoyed a dolphin swim while Dad and I enjoyed the sunshine. DeAnne also paid for a scuba dive. I had a relaxing time snorkeling on my own while Mom and Dad read in the shade. I don't know what's better than a day on a warm, quiet beach!

First Day of School!

Dustin did a great job getting the kids off for their unexpected first day of school. The kids showed really great attitudes, too! I was really impressed with them. They didn't think they'd have to start until we moved and took this turn of events really, really well! Jeff and Jenna started at Popp's Ferry with a new school and new students, while Henry started at the 6th grade school with many familiar faces from North Bay. I can't imagine what it's like to start school and know you'll only be there for 5 weeks and then know that you'll have to be the new kid all over again. I have absolutely amazing children!!

Back to Dzibilchaltun!

Mom, DeAnne, and I headed out to Dzibilchaltun to see the Mayan Ruins outside of Progresso, Mexico. Dad stayed on board the ship and enjoyed the sunshine, his book, and some peace and quiet! We had a great time climbing and exploring the ruins. It was super hot, but super fun!
