"Hey!"

Isn't she just too cute?

Our week in review...

Here's Jeff with his second tooth gone. You can barely tell in the photo, but it's the tiny shadow on the bottom right.

It seems like we have been busier than usual this week. On Monday, our Home Teacher and my Visiting Teacher (they are husband and wife) invited us over for dinner and family night. It was a nice evening and Brother Pedersen even pulled out Jeffrey's loose tooth. Yay! Henry has a very, very, so loose it's yucky loose tooth but would have nothing of having it yanked out. Here it is Thursday and he's still got it. Crazy kid. Tuesday was filled with a doctor's appt. for me and my day off. Yesterday, I finally called in about some knee pain I have been having and the Base referred me downtown. About a month ago I was carrying one of those huge rubbermaid roughtotes full of clothes and missed a step on someone's front porch. Down I went onto both knees with the added amount of weight. Yeah, I thought it would get better on its own but its only gotten worse. I went in yesterday to find out I have a torn miniscus in my right knee. Now I get to wait on my referral to have an MRI done to see how we should proceed. I am hoping that referral goes through quickly so I can get this fixed. It's not very fun. Yesterday afternoon we got Kelsey to sit up a little on her own. I didn't get a photo yesterday but snapped these two up above this morning. She is so much fun and is growing up fast, way faster than the other three, or so it seems. Last night was YW New Beginnings and I was asked to speak on Parents letting their girls grow in the program and not doing it for them. Everyone said I did a good job. Hopefully they are not just being nice. :) Here it is Thursday. It's 9:15am and I am still in my bathrobe. I guess I need to get started on my day. I need to get my house cleaned before my mom comes on Tuesday and I still have to prepare my lesson for Sunday. I keep crossing things off my to-do list, but for every item I cross off I seem to add 2 or 3 new things! I can't wait to for Dustin to get home...we're down to about 6 weeks.

An Apron in an Hour!

Someone special's birthday is coming up and I was feeling crafty yesterday so I made this super cute totally reversible apron in about an hour. No pattern needed. I found a blog where someone had a tutorial but I just took her measurements and modified them. I made the waistband 2x as wide and made it a little longer than she did. I was a little disappointed that I hurried so my stripes on the waistband are a little crooked but I think it turned out pretty cute. I added a button to the striped side, too, after I took the photo. Since this was so easy, I think I am going to go through my stash and make a whole bunch of them. My mom said she'd sell them for me. Bonus! I won't have to move all that fabric and I may end up with a little cash in hand!

We're getting closer and closer...

...to having Dad home! We were once at 180, then we had 100 days to go, now we're down to just 50 days! We can hardly wait to have him home again. Then we get to get ready to M-O-V-E! YAHOOOOOOO!

It's Snowing

My mother always said, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." I have nothing to say about Montana.

Uh-Oh!

Last night was a Relief Society service project. Henry, Jeff, and Jenna went to the Nursery and Kelsey stayed with me. My visiting teacher was playing with Miss Kelsey when she started to fuss, then to really cry. She hadn't eaten since 4pm so I took and fed her. With a happy, full tummy I handed her back to my visiting teacher but she started crying again. She was mad and she was crying. So I went over, took her back, and she stopped- almost immediately. I tried it with another sister and she did the same thing. I have never had a baby want me like that. I was worried this would happen with Dustin gone. Kelsey is only away from me for about 4 hours a week! Now I have to figure out how to nip this in the bud! Anyone want to come play with Kelsey? :)

It was O-64!

O-64.
That was Henry's winning BINGO number. Chief Jo had their annual BINGO night tonight. The cards are free and they have all kinds of yummy things to buy and eat while you play. Each classroom's families donate the items in the themed boxes. On the way to the school we all talked about how we probably would not win. We might win, but probably not. This is our third year and our first win! Needless to say, Henry was very excited. We were playing the BIG E, meaning you had to fill in the shape of a letter E on your card. He thought he had won and I took it up there only to be told he was missing one. Yeah, I looked really smart. I got to walk back to my seat in the farthest table to the back so that everyone could get a good look at me. Anyways, the very next number he called was Henry's missing number so they just asked me to come back up. I let Henry do it this time. He had the biggest smile on his face. We won the Backyard Fun box and it has some pretty neat stuff in it. It was a really fun night and I am glad we all went. Now I just have to get them all to bed so I can crash!
