A Weekend in Atlanta

While the grandmas were here we travelled to Atlanta, GA to meet up with their brother David and his family. We LOVE spending time with the Klinglers! LOVE IT! We always have a good time. We went to Stone Mountain park outisde of Atlanta. We rode the gondolas, the scenic railroad, toured a southern plantation, and saw a laser light show. It was a big day. I stole these photos from Megan's facebook page because Jenna and I were back at the hotel room. Jenna got a stomach bug right before we left. She was nice enough to share it will all 9 of us before the week was out. Thanks Jenna!

Princess Barbie

While Dustin was deployed he promised Jenna she could get a kitty. We waited until we were settled here in our new house rather than getting a cat in Great Falls and moving it here. We visited the animal shelter once, but didn't find just the right kitty. We continued to check their website and Craigslist, but still no kitty. While the grandmas were here we went to the shelter again and found our kitty! With Dustin's suggestion, Jenna named her Princess Barbie. I call her Kitty. We have had her for about 10 days now and things are going better than I had planned. She is getting used to the kids and no longer runs at everything. She and Missy do not get along so we will see what happens when the weather is cold (all 2 weeks of it) and Missy needs to come inside. We are also still considering making her an outside kitty when she gets a little older.

Happy Birthday to Me!

I had a fun day on my birthday. We had the grandmas here and we all went Outlet Mall shopping. I even found something for myself! Dustin took the girls and the boys were in school so we had a lot of fun. We all went to Cracker Barrel for dinner where we ate yummy food, opened presents, and had cake. Dustin let the kids choose gifts for me. By far Jenna's was the most interesting...a huge, golden, be-jeweled, heart-shaped peace sign necklace. She told me I could wear it everyday! Too cute. Henry chose a new saddle bike seat because last week he was riding behind me and told me my seat was too small. Nice. The new seat rocks, by the way! Jeff chose the basket for the front of my bike. I have always wanted one of those. After dinner, the grandmas took the kids home to bed and Dustin and I went to see "You Again". It was better than I thought it would be. All in all it was a pretty good day.

Jenna's Crab

Jenna found what we all thought was a neat shell until Dustin took a closer look and realized it's owner hadn't yet vacated the premises. She was so cute playing with it and drawing cirlces around it. I was glad we found out about the crab before we left the beach, not after!

The Grandmas Came to Visit!

Dustin's mom Pamela and two of her sisters came to visit us this past month. That's the reason for the delay in posting here. We have been so busy. We played at the beach, walked the Ocean Springs bridge twice, went shopping, spent a weekend in Atlanta, got a cat, had campfires, and lots of other fun things. The 10 days went by very quickly. We can't wait to see them all again.

We have been BUSY!

This was taken back on the 12th of October. It's Kelsey's first curl! I am sooooo happy. It's taken a long time for Kelsey's hair to grow and I was so excited to find this tiny curl after her nap.

Kelsey Anne is One Year Old Today!

Happy First Birthday, Kelsey!
Kelsey had a pretty routine day today. Until cake time, that is! We let her have at it...and she was all business! We could barely get a smile out of her she was chowing down so intently! It was quite the mess to clean up. We are so thankful to have Kelsey in our family. She is a little angel. I love watching her grow and learn new things everyday. And I love showing off all the new things she's learned to complete strangers everywhere we go! She is such a blessing to our family.
