My Tuscan Birthday Weekend

October 11-13, 2014

For my birthday weekend we spent the weekend at Camp Darby, near the city of Pisa. We stayed in a family cabin at the campground on post. It was a little tight with seven of us, but we had a great time. We visited the cities of Lucca, Pisa, and Florence (just a drive through on our way home). We also got to spend one morning in the IKEA in Pisa. So fun.

Time to Get Away!

October 4-5, 2014

While Grandma Pamela was in town, Dustin and I got away for a couple of days. We stayed in a beautiful little "agriturismo" in Ponte Nelle Alpi, near Belluno called the Cornolade. We had a lovely couple of days enjoying the peace and quiet of our hotel, hiking nearby, and being together.

Nick & Megan!!

Nick and Megan came to see us!! They were on their European summer tour and stopped in to see us for a couple of days. We loved having them. Dustin and Pamela spent one evening in Venice with them and had a wonderful time!

Henry's First Court of Honor and September Pack Meeting

September 30, 2014

Henry's first Court of Honor was a success. He received the 4 merit badges he has earned this first year in Scouting. After the Court of Honor we had to race across the street to Jeff's year opening Pack Meeting. In just a few months, Jeff will be crossing over into the Scout troop. I am so excited for the boys to be working on the same things, on the same night, at the same events!!

As you can plainly see in the photos, Kelsey had a very happy birthday!! She requested fruit smoothies for a treat instead of cake. We asked her several times if she was sure, and she was! She loved all her gifts and had a super fun day! It is soooooo fun to be 5!

Jenna's Baptism Day

Jenna enjoyed a perfectly lovely baptism day! We are so proud of the young lady Jenna is, and of her choice to be baptized. She is such a reliable and responsible girl!! We are so excited for what the future holds for her!
