Not for the Faint of Heart!

We just had to share this moment we had with little Jenna last night...Parents do such strange things, don't they? Anyways, Jenna sometimes happens to, well, poo-poo in the tub. So last night I ran and got the little potty seat out of storage and sat her tiny hiney (spelling?) on it. She was so happy sitting on it. She even liked holding the little handles. Then we thought we heard her utter a well known sound and then we thought we smelled a smell. Sure enough, Jenna used the potty! In the photo she's doing what she does whenever we say, "Yeeeeeeeah!". She puts her arms up and waves both hands. She's only 15, rounding the corner on 16, months old but if she's happy using it we'll set her on the potty seat every night! If nothing else, she saved us $0.22 on the diaper we didn't have to use!

January Update!

Hello Everyone! I can't believe how quickly time has gone by since Christmas! Here's a little update on what we've been up to... The day after Christmas we loaded up the van and headed out to Nampa to visit with Grandma Pamela. We had a great visit and then hit the road New Year's Eve. We rang in the New Year on our way home. We were in the middle of No Where, Montana and both totally exhausted! I think we pulled into home around 2:30am. It was pretty WILD if I do say so myself!

The following are a couple of cute photos I've snapped these last 2 weeks. Sorry we didn't take any pictures of our trip to Idaho. I guess we were just too busy having fun.

Here is our precious Jeff! He came into me with this scarf wrapped around himself and told me Laman and Lemuel tied him up! He was, of course, the faithful Nephi. He was sooooooooooo darling I had to take his picture to remember the moment. I am glad at least some of what we're attempting to teach them is sinking in.

Either this winter has been weird, or we're getting used to it. Yesterday was an unseasonably warm day- topping out at 42F! We thought it felt pretty good and hit the sidewalk with a load of sidewalk chalk. Personally, I think there is something seriously wrong with us if we think 42F is warm! After church Dustin even told Jeff he didn't need to put his coat on! We have got to move somewhere warmer! Hawaii, anyone?
