*shaking my head*

Henry just brought me this and asked, "What should I do with THIS?!" He had just found it out on the trampoline. I laughed out loud. It's totally frozen stiff. He is such a goof. I guess we missed that one before this lastest snow fell. Maybe, someday, Henry will be some famous archaeologist and hunt for other frozen treasures! Hahaha.

100 Days

Dustin's deployment, not counting travel time, is 180 days long. Today marks 100 days until Dad comes home! I made this countdown calendar and we are going to put a sticker on each day as it passes. Granted, he still has to travel home after we reach #1 but by that time we should know when Daddy will be home officially. Let the countdown begin!

Jeffrey LOST His First Loose Tooth!

I really mean it! Jeff lost his first loose tooth. It had been loose for quite a while but he was nervous about it coming out. It was still there when I checked on it at dinner tonight, but after his bath I noticed it was out. He has no idea where it went. I called Grandma Pat for some advice and she suggested that Jeff draw a picture of himself, toothless, to place under his pillow tonight. It was cute to hear Henry reassuring him that the drawing was good enough for the tooth fairy..."She'll come. She always does." I heard him say. Sometimes I can't believe how fast time is flying. Wow!

Another One Bites the Dust

So, last night we went to the gym for family night. Our friends the Clarks were there. Jake, the dad, took Henry and was playing with him in the bounce house. Henry came out looking a little nervous and Jake came out laughing and holding Henry's right front tooth! As Jake was throwing Hen into the bounce house he felt something graze his forearm. Turns out it was Hen's tooth. It was pretty funny. I think he looks soooooooooo cute with it gone. I just love it. (It would not be so cute if he were, say, 30 years old and looking like that!) Anyways, he was happy to find another golden dollar beneath his pillow this morning, this time without the drama!

Where does a 3 -year- old learn the word "moron"?

So tonight Jenna brought me a coloring book page with a dragon on it. After talking to me about why it's colored red and pink she said to me, "I think his name is Bob." I don't think she knows anyone by that name so I said something like, "Oh, Really?" She answers with, "No, I think I will call him Moron." Now, moron is not a word I normally use so I am not sure where she got it. It would be nice to be able to blame it on Dustin but I'm pretty sure it wasn't him! I have to say it was super funny to hear her say it so seriously! Man, I have to watch that girl!

Henry's Lost Another Tooth...

Here's Mr. Henry with another baby tooth lost! He really is growing up! It's pretty fun. We had a little scare yesterday morning when he woke up to find no tooth and no money under his pillow. He sure knew that wasn't right. We literally had to take the bed apart, even taking the mattress off of the wooden bed frame. We finally found one shiny golden dollar on the floor after shaking out all of the bedding! He was pretty happy to have found it. So off to Wal-mart we went last night. You wanna guess what he bought? Flarp. Yes, Flarp. It's "noise making putty". When you press the goopy gloppy stuff into it's plastic canister is makes, well, fart noises. The boys thought it was hilarious the whole ride home from Wal-mart. I have to admit their laughter did make me smile, and the noises are kind of funny! Thankfully, however, the newness has worn off and I haven't heard it anymore this evening. Then tonight, as I was making dinner, Henry ran upstairs to show me that his middle front tooth is loose. How cute is that going to be? I just can't wait!

Future Hottie

I saw this shirt at Target and had to get it for Kelsey. I just thought it was too cute! You can see she is growing up super fast. She's three and a half months already. That means Dustin has been gone 2 months and one week. It really is going by fast, and for that I am grateful. We can't wait to have him home with us again. The kids and I are doing really great...much better than I thought we would be doing. I was expecting the worst. Some days are hard, and some days are even harder, but we're pulling together and I think holding up really well. Oh, it will be so nice when he is home again. If nothing else, I'll have help with diaper duty!

Can You Believe It?

Jenna is old enough for Primary!
