16325 Yaupon Berry DrHere it is! We have put in a offer on this house and it's been accepted. As soon as the owner signs one more thing we will be under contract and ready to close in about a month. It's a lovely home in a fabulous neighborhood. We are walking distance to a community center, park, walking track, the boys' school (K-8), and some amazing Little League baseball and football fields. It's a perfect place for our family. The house sits on about 3/4 of an acre with a gazebo and play structure in the back. Inside, the house has just what we need, although it's painted a lovely pastel lime green. Not to worry, though, we already priced paint and chose a wonderful, boring, neutral color. The kids even have their own jetted tub, but we haven't told them that yet. More photos to come so that you can see before and after shots as we travel on this journey. Hopefully all goes well and we will be home owners again come the first week of August, which also happens to be the first week of school down here. Wish us Luck!

Yeah, congrats! We've been looking at rentals (since we've haven't sold our house yet darn it) and I am SHOCKED at the colors people do their houses in. The house that we ended up getting has forest green counters throughout, with a forest green family room. Blah...I'm with you on the neutral color thing. Good thing it's just a rental! Hopefully one of these days we'll come check out Mississippi and see your new place!
lots of room for us to come visit! It'll be warm enough we can pop a tent in the backyard :) I love color, you know that! But right now the house is boring beige. Your BROTHER picked out blue counters in the kitchen. He also picked out the new fridge...*shudder*
