For Spring Break this year the Douberlys, along with Grandma Pamela and Aunt Rosalie, set out in our new-to-us Suburban for our nation's capitol, Washington, DC! On the way, we stopped in Aulander, NC to meet up with Aunt Debbie and Uncle David Klingler! We LOVE getting together with family! We we super lucky to have Megan drive all the way from UNC for dinner, too! She wasn't able to come to DC with us, but we were so thankful to see her! The Washington Monument was our first stop in DC. When Dustin and I stopped in DC on our honeymoon the Washington Monument was covered in scaffolding and I think, in our honor, they put it back up just a few days before our arrival. I guess a nice photo of us at this monument isn't meant to be!! This was just the beginning of all the fun we were to have during this chilly, windy week!
