We went to the Grand Canyon. It was cool. It looked like weather had made amazing rocks. I used binoculars and saw pennies people had thrown down there.We took hikes. The hike was very fun, but it was really hard to get up out of the canyon. We got a camping site. We saw elk and the birds got into our trash. We saw our cousins. We went to a star party. We saw planets (Mars and Saturn) and stars through telescopes. They only do that once a year. We took a shuttle bus to see some sites. My favorite part of the Grand Canyon was the big hike.
