Our Summer Vacation Part Eight- the Oregon Coast

Once we got to Oregon and got Jeff's foot taken care of, we got to run out to Tillamook, OR for the afternoon to visit with my brother, Darryl, who is spending the summer at a BSA camp as the medic. We first hit the Tillamook Cheese Factory to learn about making butter, cheese, and ice cream and to get a taste of some of the best ice cream around! After that we all headed out to Camp Clark for some fun on the beach, games with cousins, and a family dinner. I love the Oregon Coast. Even if you do need a hoodie in July it's still one of my most favorite places in the whole world!

Oooo, Tillamook icecream - yummy! Boy do I miss that! Friends in our ward just got back from a 2 week vacation on the Oregon Coast for the first time ever. They wouldn't believe us how cold it was, even in the summer time. I just looked at all her pictures...they have coats and long pants in EVERY picture! :) Quite a difference than our beach here!
