While we were in Oregon we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. First we went to the temple together, then to dinner, then out to the Oregon Coast. Grandma kept the kids overnight and Dustin, the sweetheart that he is, had reserved a room at the same hotel where we spent our honeymoon. He tried to get our same room but it was booked so we got the one next door, complete with a huge jacuzzi tub and a fireplace. We went to see Harry Potter, which is verrrrry long. The next day we slept in, enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at the hotel, went for a long walk down to haystack rock, and finally did some outlet mall shopping. We haven't had an overnight get away in a lonnnnnng time and it was wonderful! Thanks mom!

I'm having sooo much fun reading these as they pop up...reminising of Oregon. Oh to have a night away, that's the only thing that stinks about being so far away from family. Next summer is our 10year anniversary...we're hoping to fly one of my sisters in and go on a cruise. Wish us luck!
